Have you ever noticed how some people can add harmony to a song, even the first time they hear it, without needing anyone to teach them their part, and without stopping to analyze the music? Why is this method different from other kinds of harmony singing instruction?

Many harmony singing courses—in person, online or on CD or DVD—teach you to memorize a specific harmony part to a song. This method gets you singing quickly, but it doesn’t teach you how to figure out your own harmonies to the songs you want to sing. Other harmony courses start out with music theory and interval training. These are useful tools, but the best harmony singers we know didn’t learn this way. Instead, they learned to hear harmony notes in their heads and sing those notes. This is what we teach you to do, in a straightforward, step-by-step method.
